Oh boy, oh boy am I excited! It’s time to issue our first income report! What’s so exciting to me is that there is actually income to report! Granted it’s not much, but it’s completely passive income. I wake up and find $7 in my inbox, pretty freaking cool.

So I’ve probably put in 30-40 hours total to build 5 templates. It’s definitely taken a little longer than I expected to build the first 5 templates. Most of that time was taken up learning how to integrate with the LeadPages platform, which now that I know it, I should be able to build much faster. Plus, we’ll also be able to speed up the development time further now that we have a library of elements we can pull from.

Ultimately, the revenue goal for TemplateLauncher.com is to generate $3k-$4k/mo. Since my brother Ben and I are 50/50 partners we split everything down the middle. We’re debt free and have kept our expenses really low, despite living 6 blocks from the ocean in Santa Monica, CA, and all we need is $1.5-$2k/mo. each to cover our living expenses.

Without further ado this month we hit $115 in total template sales! Keep in mind that we launched our first template on November 15th and our sales really took a hit over the holidays because apparently people aren’t necessarily using LeadPages over the long Thanksgiving holiday. It seems like they’d rather spend time with their family and eating turkey than buying LeadPages templates. What’s the deal with that?! Below is a breakdown of our template sales.

Stripe Dashboard

LeadPages processes all credit card payments via Stripe.com, which is awesome by the way you need to check it out if you haven’t. So whenever a sale is made on LeadPages.net we receive a payment into our Stripe account. Below is a screenshot from the Stripe dashboard for the dates of November 1 – November 30, 2014.

Top Sales Day – $21

Not to shabby! Our top sales day was $21. That’s enough for a couple burritos from Chipotle! Excited to see how high we can get our daily sales with more templates!
