December was a benchmark month for us! This was the highest month we’ve ever had coming in at $4,661 including building custom templates and sales from premium templates. We owe our sales in large part from selling so many custom templates coming in at $500 a pop, in addition to a few hundred dollar updates on current templates. Our service sales, building custom landing page templates, came in at $3,200. All of which came from new customers who found us organically through the LeadPages marketplace. However, the Photo Background template killed it this month! That template alone brought in a wholly $239!
CLIENT TEMPLATES LAUNCHED
All of the custom services we performed this month were for clients who are not selling their landing pages in the marketplace but are using them internally. So no new client templates to share this month, though we did build 6 client templates and updated 1 current client template.
This month we launched 1 internal template. We definitely slowed down in putting templates into the marketplace and that is something we need to get better at for next month. All of the internal templates we launched were actually FREE L(a)unch requests we received through TemplateLauncher.com.

We had to do some custom functionality for a client template. We were able to build additional functionality directly into our control panel enabling the user to add content to their popover. This is pretty badass and another creative approach to problem solving that helps us maintain our competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Finally, we extended some of our ideas of how to expand our business. Stay tuned because we are soon to release something pretty badass.
The biggest lesson learned this month was that we need to keep adding templates in the marketplace. We can’t let the custom work alone sustain us. I’m shooting for 4 new templates in the marketplace for the month of January.

Top Sales Day – $93
We matched our sales day last month, coming in at $93!
